Meghan’s path to midwifery started when she was a labor and delivery nurse in Washington, DC. While working as a nurse in both DC and Philadelphia, Meghan realized that although she loved supporting mothers during their short labor and birth experience, she wanted to do more. Meghan’s desire to form long lasting relationships with women instead of just working with them for the short time they are in labor led her to pursue her degree in midwifery. Her passion for educating women and empowering them to be active participants in their healthcare is what inspires her.
“Being a Midwife is about so much more than delivering a baby. Midwife means “with woman” and we hope to walk through life with you form your first period and beyond your last period. I consider it an honor and privilege to care for women and families in this wonderful profession each day.”
