I have lived and worked in Sussex County, Delaware since 2005. It has been my pleasure to provide Obstetrical and Gynecological care to the woman of the community for more than 16 years.
My experience is in comprehensive and high-risk obstetrical care, adolescent gynecology, gynecological surgeries and procedures, infertility, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery. For the past four years, I have been honored as one of the ‘Top Doctors’ of Delaware.
I am board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy.
I have always wanted to be a physician, like my father who retired as a Major General in the Indian Army Medical Corp. My initial training took place in India at the Christian Medical College of Punjab University. I completed my training in India and became an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After moving to the United States, I earned a Master of Public Health at the Medical College of Virginia and then completed a second residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Newark (now part of Rutgers). While there, I served as a chief resident and received numerous honors.
I am married with one son, enjoy reading, music, and spending time with my family. I am fluent in Hindi. I can also speak Urdu and understand Punjabi.
