It’s been two years since this article was written highlighting DTW bringing Michelle Reyes, LCSW into our practice. Since then, we have completed over 1000 individual mental health therapy visits, hired a second therapist, Michelle Adams, MSW (picture on website) and created a full scale maternity pantry for our underserved patient population thru donations from staff, patients and community members.
Social distancing may be the term we have become familiar with, but to many it has come to mean isolation and loneliness. Loneliness can breed fear, anxiety, and sadness.
